(3,894 posts)I don't have tv and limited on-line availability per month with mobile cricket, so I try not to just bounce all over, I come here a lot because of the comprehensive discussion rather than offhand remarks with no context.

(2,902 posts)He stated his opinion. Maher lost his ABC show related to sponsor boycotts so, naturally he's not in favor of this. It's just not that big a deal. If it's not yet time to more on, it will be soon. Limpballs is not going away. The right wing would revolt.

(8,556 posts)One is his anger over losing 'Politically Incorrect' after 9/11. He identifies with media figures who are pushed off of the air for offending people.
The other is that he has referred to Sarah Palin using sexist language in his stand-up act, so he's particularly vulnerable to sexism as justification for removing a media figure from the air.
