One special request: Everyone vote in Texas today, just to show them we can!

If you already voted early, thank you. The reason to vote is much more important than the individual issues on the ballot today. The real importance is to stick your thumb in the eye of those that would keep us from voting at all. You'll get a chance to see how the new restrictive laws will impact your ability to cast a vote and be ready for the bigger races to come in the future where we can turn Texas purple, then blue.

The best reason to vote in this election is to send a message to the other side that we're just getting started on retaking our state. A strong Dem turnout will scare the other side witless (or at least more so) and signal that we will fight them at every turn, contest every race. It is all the small elections that build our government, not just the Presidential and Congressional ones. So, please vote if you haven't, seeing registered Dems counted is the best way to ruin a Repub's day.

Will allow more data to fight the laws and bring empirical evidence that can be used in court to prove harm.

I was voter #18. It was 9:00am, but turnout was lousy. My precinct is usually better than that. On the flipside, zero line.
