Hawaii House panels vote tonight to approve SB1, sending to full House for a vote

wo panels in the Hawaii House, which have heard five days of public testimony, voted tonight to advance SB 1 to a pair of votes by the full House later this week.

The Hawaii Senate has already passed the bill, and all political experts say that there are enough votes in the House for passage. Democratic Gov. Neal Abercrombie has already announced that he will sign the bill into law.

The law allows marriages to begin on Nov. 18, 2013.
