Dang I feel good about the outcome of last nights elections..

I was sweating bullets for Virginia.. and we took it.. and Christie had to swing so far to the left and position himself in the center, that there is no way in heck the tea party is going to let him have the candidacy in 2016.

At first I had tuned in late and listening to Chuck Todd boo hoo about it only being a 3 % or so victory.. I had to scratch my head.. is he kidding.. can he not see how this is going to play out.

Oh I can.. I live in a very conservative district.. and that 3% victory.. gives the crazies on the right just enough juice to keep ripping the GOP totally apart.

AHHHHHHHHHH manna from heaven. The republican party has to keep fighting itself in order to find out who will be their voice.

That is a gift that just keeps on giving.

Can Sarah Palin not be too far behind to start to rip at the very threads of that party again.

Sometimes you just get lucky.

It's always nice to see you Peace. I was sweating last night as well, Hubby kept telling me to relax as Arlington and Alexandria etc still hadn't come in.

He was right! (Don't tell him I said that... )

Virginia elected a Democrat. He may not be the one everyone wanted, but he's a solid Dem. He's pro-choice and he's going to bring Virginia into the state exchanges on the ACA. Medicaid will be expanded to Virginia. The assault on women's rights will no longer come from the Governor's mansion. He a strong supporter of LGBT equality. These are all very good things. I, for one, am breathing a small sigh of relief for our commonwealth.

It's not looking so Great for Mark Herring, but I'm still holding out hope.

Another plus is that we picked up a few more delegate seats! This is all good stuff!

I know Virginia well...though we have lived in Iowa for decades.. And it was an awesome victory.. I am surprised by people who do not understand how HUGE this was.. and just a couple of years ago you had a Governor there that was going to force vaginal probes on innocent women.. The swing is mind blowing.

THIS IS HUGE.. and then Chirsty had to run hard left and put himself more toward the center of politics.. not going to sit well with the tea hounds.

Go Virginia.. Go Virginia.. Go Virginia

I've been here for 4 years -- and I figured this stuff out as soon as I could. Virginia reminds me of NYS in many way. If it weren't for NYC, like NoVa -- New York would probably be a swing state.

This is HUGE. I for one am very happy.

really do have a hard time, when "their" predictions do not go exactly as they thought..they just fall apart and start yammering incoherently.. That is Todd, to Chris Matthews to Morning Joe.. to all the anchors really.
