Has SOPA/PIPA been shot down for good?

Or do we still have to worry about it? It's been awhile since I've heard anything about it. It's for my curiosity and my teenybopper daughter has to write report on it for school. Thanks.

Apparently from my quick perusal of ACTA, which is the current form of anti-counterfeiting, is more sinister! US lawmaker Issa (isn't that the same woman hater) has opened ACTA for comments from the public.
