Gov Christie Calls Former Navy SEAL An Idiot - Boots Him From Town Hall

Former Navy SEAL booted from Gov. Christie town hall after heated exchange

..................

The exchange continued with Christie’s amplified voice booming from the speakers and Brown yelling up at him from his seat in the back row of the fire hall.

"Do you want to hear the answer or no? Do you want to hear me answer or don’t you? Because I’m not going to — I’ve heard you," Christie said, still with Brown interrupting. "OK, next question."

An audience clinging to every word dissolved into applause, following by a quintessential Christie sendoff: "Let me tell you something after you graduate from law school you conduct yourself like that in a courtroom, your rear end is going to be thrown in jail, idiot."

"I’m a combat veteran Navy Seal, how’s that?" Brown shouted back.

And if graduating from law school endows one with some sort of special aura, it's news to me.

Prime example, Chris Christie, a boor and a bully with bodyguards.

The hypocrisy of the Tea Partiers never fails to astound. First of all, I see so many of you groveling at the feet of that bullying lout, yet you condemn a combat veteran for daring to speak back in the same tone. I even see some of you insisting that 'you don't have a right to talk like a jerk.' False. Jerkish speech is no less protected than any other speech. Otherwise, the guv would have been yanked down from the bully pulpit long ago...and what about those retirees - tea partiers - who disrupted 'town hall' meetings coast to coast a mere couple years ago? Short memories, huh? Retirees who desired to curtail benefits they already received to all future recipients. Hypocrisy.

Next, the horrific slurs directed toward this combat veteran *really* hypocritical, considering the stance many of you took during the opening years of Bush The Lesser's invasion & occupation of Iraq for fun & profit. You wanted to equate any & all criticism of any member of the armed forces with treason, f'cryin' out loud! Now you call this man 'crybaby,' 'jerk,' 'stupid' and worse. Reasonable people see this and shake their heads in amazement at the blatant hypocrisy. Some of you reiterate the old canard that 'libs hate the military, so what are they doing defending this guy?' I got a news flash, Tea Partiers: MANY more national political figures in recent years have been Democrats than Republicans. Check it out:

The dirty little truth Republicans dont want America to notice. Anybody here see the pattern? For all thier blustering patriotism and warmongering almost NONE of them actually served our nation in the US military. Perhaps that is why they are all to ready to send young men to die in foreign wars. They have no idea what that actually means. Compare Republican service record in he military to Democrat service and it becomes all to clear what kind of people make up the Republican party: blustering moral cowards and bigots. (John McCain being the only one with real honor and integrity which is why he is the black sheep of the party)

Republicans:

* **** Cheney: did not serve. Several deferments, the last by marriage. Investigated by the FBI for treason as head of Haliburton for secret deals with Libya and Iran, both terrorist enemies of the United States of America while those nations were under US sanctions for direct involvement in the deaths of US military personel and civilians. Put profit over patriotic duty to his country.

Admittedly a bit dated, but no less true today. Any one of you Keyboard Kommandos who wants to amend the record is free to do so, but I doubt it'll have any effect on the hypocritical chickenhawk apologists at all. As your hero, St. Ronnie observed, 'facts are stupid things,' and they find it infinitely preferable to wallow in ignorance.
