(9,126 posts)Their parents should get kudos as well. If we celebrated compassion and kind acts as much as behaving badly or ruthlessly, for regular people as well as celebrities, we would see a lot more of that behavior.
I do believe that much of the school shooting and violence is a cry for attention, to be noticed and "famous". Now Danny and all his friends are famous for doing something very good. It will encourage more kids and people to do something good and kind.
