Honestly, I never thought I'd see this day: where they are dumber, as a populace, than we are.

a few years ago, i listen to alot of rightwing talkradio in Toryonto....one guy, mike stafford, was always complaing that the lefty liberal tree hugger dope smoking thug hugging types were so dominant in the GTA that the poor old rightwing tories NEVER HAD A CHANCE and it warn't fair etc. Somewhat off topic, i both emailed and left a ph. message for stafford saying that if we lib lefties were so darned dominant, then HOWCUM there was ONLY rightwing talk radio available-not even one left liberal in entire universe it seems (since mr pig killed Denver talkradio host Alan Berg way back in 1984!) i asked stafford 'where is the market forces, the dead hand of supply & demand etc? Surely there is a vast unserved leftwing community who would LOVE to listen to a lefty liberal talk radio host, but....but....(?) And as we're very well-to-do etc, the advertisers surely would be eager to take our money! But..but...Stafford ignored me, however, and my worktruck bit the dust last year so new truck has fm and i no longer listen to the lying bastards on a.m! ...But the overwhelming reactionary tone of the mass media, including CBC and TVO etc, means the dumb/dumber crowd really believes the rightwing mantra that ...taxes too high, poor girls are unwed moms, union bosses want to make lazy workers rich, there aint no global warming, not enough cops, the 1st nations got it too good at our expense (actually, many poor people don't really agree with that, since many of them know 1st nations people, and know the 1st nation situation isn't any picnic!) Rob Ford proves that the old 'Up from Conservativism' idea- that 1/3 votes left, 1/3 votes rightwing, so only majority of the last 1/3rd is needed for an electoral LANDSLIDE hahaha...
Ford won by a landslide. And the talkradio nazipoohs will say it no matter how much proof that he actually JUST BARELY squeaked in! and his recent crack etc troubles due to his getting 'stabbed in the back' by liberal media (Hitler's nazis claimed Germany was 'stabbed in back' during ww1 by liberals, jews and hippies commies etc to win 1932 election) so Rob Ford is just using tried true methods to save his job.
