The conservatives in my area are still proud Neo-Cons (but don't call them that!). Naturally, all discussions of politics are centered around Israel's right to defend itself by attacking Iran and America's duty to defend them whenever they choose to start that war.
I just received an email from a client with these startling statistics " Apparently about 2% of the Iranians want the status quo and the other 98% were actually angry that the US did not help overthrow the Mullahs. They were also very pissed at the US when the students revolted and we did nothing a few years ago. I believe that 65% of the Iranian population is under 40 and does not to be told how to worship. They want a moderate government that allows all types of freedoms."
He goes on to say they (98% of Iranians) want us to go to war with (Iran). All of these statistics are fabricated as Gallop has no pollsters in Iran but that doesn't seem to matter.
The good news is he stopped emailing me after congratulated him on using the exacted same argument that got us involved in Iraq.

I want to write a letter to the editor apprising them of these facts.
To add weight to the argument I need to provide documentation of
where they came from. What polling organization conducted this poll?
