After listening to speeches by supporters of three presidential candidates, area Republicans began casting votes at Century II in Wichita late this morning.
Voting at the caucuses ended at 1 p.m.
For the first time in recent memory, Kansas occupies a spot on the primary calendar where its Republican votes can significantly influence the presidential nominating battle
