Hmm... Wolf Blitzer and Gloria Berger are working tonight. Where's Tweety, Rachel and Lawrence?

Oh yea that's right I forgot.... its the weekend!

Silly me!

I thought on a night where a state is holding a caucus in a hotly contested primary, that such a news event would warrant some coverage.

After all, major primary fights to be the most powerful man in the world only happen once every 4 years! And MSNBC is called... "The Place For Politics!"

I guess I'm just wrong.

Wow! There's Candy Crowley. Apparently the CNN Chief White House correspondent decided to work today. But I guess to MSNBC's Chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd, today's events just aren't important enought to ruin a Saturday afternoon of off-work fun. After all a man like Chuck Todd only eats and breaths politics on the weekdays. Weekends? Thats for getting drunk and watching the Miami Hurricanes!

Anyway while important political news events occur throughout our country, you will all be exited to know that the women's prison in Tampa Bay is one of the finest and cleanest facilities I have ever scene. And Yes, I am an expert in the field of prison hygiene and sanitary health because I watch MSNBC.... The Place for Politics!

They are being paid! And they are being paid handsomely. Plus in case they didn't notice, the folks at CNN worked the same amount of hours, but they didn't spend all day Wednesday patting themselves on the back over it!

Aren't they suppose to like Politics? This is suppose to be their time of year. This is their Olympics! This is their Super Bowl!

Think about.

During the Olympics do you ever hear NBC's Bob Costas say.... "Boy I wish I could just go home, I've been in China long enough."

Think about this..

During the Super Bowl do you ever hear ESPN say... "Gee I wish we didn't have all this pre-game coverage!"

Do you ever hear one sports announcer compliment another sports announcer for working 2 games in row? "Boy, Al, I'm surprised you made it the Super Bowl, after all didn't last weeks football game run over its scheduled TV time-slot?"

If you seriously take what MSNBC does with congratulating themselves for doing their job and project it out to other networks or professions, it comes off as downright ridiculous.

They're only human. But I do agree that they air too many LockUp episodes on weekends...

I don't know, just asking. Maybe MSNBC needs some backups to cover stories like this on the week-end if their "stars" are overworked.

And he still manages to be there on the weekends when important events warrant it.

Gloria Berger doesn't have her own show. But still MSNBC could have something on. Their roster has become fairly deep.
