My senses are on mouth-watering overload.
I have so many things to be thankful for this year. I love my job. My wife is healthy and happy. My new home is a joy.
And Lola. And Lola. And Lola.
I hope with all my heart that this day finds you well, and that you have as much to be thankful for as I do. My life is definitely better for knowing you all.
Happy Thanksgiving.

(44,577 posts)I made my first sweet potato pie yesterday -- it looks a little lumpy and contains flecks of pulverized cinnamon sticks. Still haven't decided whether to bake or mash the potato.

(46,758 posts)work well together in the kitchen. It is a glorious family time of the year and I love fall colors, putting them up in every common room in the house.
But I will tell you this Will Pitt, when you're the cook it takes a lot to shut out the number of stick of butters, sugar and eggs that go in those recipes.

(21,812 posts)Just immediate family, though.
The big annual get-together for us is during the Christmas season.
And yes, the kitchen is the main place in our household for scintillating conversation. Not the living room. Not the dining room. The kitchen.
Pace yourselves and don't drink too much.
See you all later tomorrow.
