The Obamacare website working is BAD for Obama you see

Heard this morning on Mourning Joe - Robert Gibbs was wearing an Auburn tshirt

They wanted to highlight a "good point" made by Chuck Todd on Meet the Press. With Peggy Noonan looking on approvingly Chuck explained that since they had to call in private sector experts to fix the website it proves that the "government run system" (ALL of it apparently) doesn't work. Joe and the rest of the coffeehouse crew sat around agreeing without really admitting that the website IS working or mentioning that it was the private sector contractor who set up the site or that private insurers are still the providers.

The website not working was bad but the HOW of it getting fixed is now a problem too... You see.

because they rely on private-sector companies for all their weapons.

And the interstate highways system is a failure because of all that private-sector concrete.

Just a thought experiment here....How fucking stupid does one have to be to vote Republican?

They kind of made that "argument" in the just next segment ... when they did some coverage of the NY commuter train wreck. Joe puffed up his feathers and crowed about the government it being another example of government not being able to run anything.

To his credit, the guest (I didn't catch who he was) destroyed the "argument" by stating that infrastructure failure occurs when we systematically defund infrastructure maintenance.

it's, generally, not a good idea (IMHO) to climb onto the back of a creature that is 4-5 times as large as you and has its own brain telling it, "I really don't want this creature on my back."

I caught that, as I was pouring my morning coffee. I ended up spilling coffee all over my counter as I waited for someone to point out that the website was, originally, built by private sector operators under government contract ... the same government that contracted this set of private sector website fixers.

Two thoughts:

Media Liberal bias my a$$; and,
Wow ... they (Morning Joe, et al) are working really, really hard to insult the intelligence of its audience ... or rather, apparently, they no longer care to even pretend as to their agenda.
