I live in a condo building with no doorman, so you have to be home to buzz the UPS or FedEx delivery person in, or else you get the note tacked to the front door of the building saying they'll try to deliver again. They won't leave packages outside on the street.

We do, however, have a roof deck. If we're not home, Amazon can just have them drop it from the air onto our roof!

Just remind me never to order something breakable.

Almost as clever as Bezos' bogus drone "news" to divert all the negative attention away from Amazon.

All the same, kudos to the UK prankster.

My opinion only: This idea is dumb.
Enough with the drones. Now we have them in our every day commerce? Military is bad enough, now this? Geeze, I've lived too long.

On an average day and seeing thousands and thousands of drones buzzing by... But I suspect people may have thought something similar about cars and roads destroying the quiet of the land...

Wasn't it just this summer that a kid who was flying something less powerful a delivery drone would have to be was essentially decapitated by it? I don't think it actually took his head off but if I remember correctly, it was a head wound serious that it killed him.

I thought it was an NSA drone,
and sent it to Droney Heaven with my 12 ga.

If you want your package,
you can pick it up at my house.

Like there's a drone and you don't know if it's there to deliver a Christmas present or bomb your house. There's a book in there somewhre.
