I don't think Google is doing this out of the kindness of their hearts.

Internet access should be for everyone, but it shouldn't come from corporations.

Unless I copy & paste an article about how Corporate America is raping society for all it's worth, the humor challenged jump in to add their critique without opening the link.

Then there's always someone to blow the whistle and imply that I'm an idiot because they've seen it before.

I'm getting away from the computer and goinging out to enjoy the sunshine.

I would like to know exactly how they plan on pulling it off.

Oh - that's how.

http://www.google.com/onceuponatime/tisp/install.html

Installing a typical home TiSP system is a quick, easy and largely sanitary process -- provided you follow these step-by-step instructions very, very carefully.

#1 Remove the spindle of fiber-optic cable from your TiSP installation kit.

#2 Attach the sinker to the loose end of the cable, take one safe step backward and drop this weighted end into your toilet.

There are more steps - but due to copyright laws I had to cut it short.

Expect to see much, much more of this.

Obama's proposal for the internet ID is another extremely disturbing example. It is being promoted as merely an optional convenience, but the entire proposal is centered around blanketing the nation with it by making it financially impossible for companies NOT to require its use.

Occupy now. Get the damned money out of our political system.

You see, the OP is a gag that's potty related. Potties are sometimes "occupied."

Potties, when you flush them, go "whoosh." Just like the gag went over a few heads.

It's quite lovely when you consider the whole thing.

Nothing is free from corporate geeks.
We should be provided with affordable, high-speed net conections. It will provide edcational developement, many jobs, and a booming economy. I expect corporate interests to be dumb to the big picture.

Your agenda of blaming the president for everything is clouding your reading comprehension skills.

Clue: April 1 is the roll-out date.

Umless you believe that internet practical jokes are part of the Obama Evil Agenda.

unfortunately, if Google really does it (which I don't expect, it being an April 1st thing), they may discover or interfere with OTHER private networks that have been installed in various places...

It's a better concept than the joke makes it out to be.

And the intimate connection between the Google Toolbar and the sewer makes it even funnier, in a way Google probably didn't anticipate.
