CA Assembly GOP Puts Up Fake California Health Exchange Site
By karoli
On their version, there are links to negative articles and twisted messages intended to sour people on signing up for health insurance before they ever land at the official health exchange site.
A fake health care site. A fake health care site intended to discourage the people on their own mailing lists from getting health insurance because fuck them, that's why.

The website is coveringhealthcareca.com, and it is being touted by caucus leader Connie Conway, R-Tulare, as giving "Californians the answers they are seeking and help them navigate through the confusing bureaucracy of the new federal health care law with ease."
Conway went on to state: "Despite our long-held belief that a massive federal government health care mandate is bad for the economy and bad for people's health care, it is our responsibility as elected officials to help educate Californians about the new federal health care law as we must all comply with it. With this new website and our other district outreach efforts, Assembly Republicans are focused on helping our constituents make the right health care choices for themselves, their families and their businesses."
