Chick-Fil-A announces it will remove butane, artificial dyes, and high fructose corn syrup

Chick-Fil-A announces it will remove butane, artificial dyes, and high fructose corn syrup from food by 2014

Chick-Fil-A currently uses a peanut oil made from TBHQ, a chemical made from butane

Chick-fil-A says it's removing high-fructose corn syrup from its white buns and artificial dyes from its sauces and dressings as part of a push to improve its ingredients.

The fast-food chicken chain says the reformulated buns are being tested in about 200 Georgia locations, while the sauces and dressings will be tested starting early next year.

It says it also removed a yellow dye from its chicken soup and that the new recipe should be in all restaurants by the end of this month.

I think I can make my own Chick-Fil-A chicken at home and the waffle fries are not hard to make either.

There is a chemical preservative made out of butane in the oil, but it's no longer butane after they're done with it.

If you want to say there's butane in their food, you've also got to say there's antifreeze in a plastic Coke bottle (PET plastic is made out of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol) and chemical weapons in your running shoes (one of the two chemicals used to make polyurethane foam is made in a process that requires the chemical warfare agent phosgene). And you don't even wanna know what they coat coffee filters with.
