Darwin award candidate.

Looks like this guy was a tweaker, tweakers in many towns and cities are notorious for getting killed like this.

Man electrocuted while attempting to break into business, officials say

MILWAUKEE —Medical officials in Milwaukee believe a man was electrocuted while trying to break into a business, possibly to steal copper.

Paramedics were called to Greer Tire at 6550 N. 40th St. after an employee noticed a man hanging over the roof of the building.

"There was a man slumped over the edge of the roof, right by where the electrical connections are coming in," Pat Greer said.

Greer described the terrifying scene that workers came upon early this week at his north side tire wholesale business.

"He was leaning over the cap at the time with the wire cutters in his hands and had been electrocuted," Greer said.

Fire Department officials believed the man may have been attempting to cut the business security system wire and was electrocuted in the process. Authorities suspect the victim may have been on the roof to steal copper wiring.

For whom the clinical term used to be "idiot".

Anyone is capable of a lapse of good judgment.

Anyone is capable of a temporary impairment or emotional disturbance.

Plenty of people don't know how guns work.

No, I don't believe in the death penalty for actual criminals, let alone for eugenic purposes, which is the implication of "Darwin Award". The title itself suggests an "award" for the elimination of behavioral traits you believe to be heritable - which itself indicates your colossal ignorance of the subject.

A death penalty for arrogant posturing by the type of person who no doubt amused themselves with the antics of the less intellectually-gifted in their youth, and have not outgrown it? I'll think about that one.

A guy I graduated with attempted to steal some power lines he thought were 'dead'. The line(s) in question were very much alive, to the tune of 66,000volts. After climbing the pole the thief was electrocuted. It is surmised that the fall to the ground restarted his heart, he lived with some leg muscle damage and managed to win a law suit against the power company.
Thankfully he never reproduced.

Later on in his spared life he sexually molested his young niece. He served serious jail time for that crime. His niece never really recovered from her ordeal and died young from drugs.

He ends up floating with the fish he killed.

It's common for highly intelligent people to believe that intelligence is largely a heritable trait when, in the scale of things, innate intellectual capacity isn't as highly variable as is supposed.

Guys like William Shockley - Nobel prize winning physicist and utter moron in genetics.

I've seen a lot of these types during the course of several post-graduate degrees. Anyone with low intelligence, mental health or addiction issues - are subhuman to them.

To be a republican idea. Who else would have so little empathy they could find a good laugh and a feeling of superiority while being regaled in the tales of another person's misfortune. I think maybe they who find hilarity in hurt shouldn't be allowed to breed.
