After the Rosa Parks tweet by the GOP, (and the subsequent corrected email when they realized racism still existed), we hear two other attempts today. First, GOP men tutored to learn how to talk to women:

The National Republican Congressional Committee wants to make sure there are no Todd Akin-style gaffes next year, so its meeting with top aides of sitting Republicans to teach them what to say or not to say on the trail, especially when their boss is running against a woman.
Speaker John Boehner is serious, too. His own top aides met recently with Republican staff to discuss how lawmakers should talk to female constituents.

That it is even an issue tells us a lot about the party, and how hard the outreach effort started by the leadership will be.
In addition, Randy Forbes seems to miss the point of outreach when he rejects gay candidates and advocates they should not be given funds

In another chapter of hows the reaching out working Politico writes, Virginia Rep. Randy Forbes, a senior House Republican eyeing a powerful committee chairmanship, is causing friction with some of his colleagues by pushing the House GOP campaign arm to deny support for some of the partys gay congressional candidates. Forbes has waged a lengthy crusade to convince his colleagues and the National Republican Congressional Committee brass they shouldnt back some gay candidates. His efforts on Capitol Hill were described to Politico by more than a half-dozen sources with direct knowledge of the talks.
Add to this the news yesterday that Scott Walker had to fire a staffer who talked about killing undocumented workers in tweets (do they think it is a joke, really?) Seems the outreach effort may be derailed by their own members even before people hear any policy proposals.

uterus. I don't know if it is jealousy over that women can do something men can NEVER do (something that drives the RWing insane) OR just that they are evil old men that love to torture innocent people for kicks.

Greg is doing his best to generate a gender gap. His supporters are pushing some disgusting posts on twitter using hashtag #abortionbarbie Here is an example

It's awesome that Wendy Davis' profile comes up when you do a Twitter search for "abortionbarbie."
