What I don't understand are the networks that she constantly slams as part of the liberal media trying to cozy up to her (pretty much anyone other than FOX).

Maybe she gives a network that has her on the morning show a slight bump for that ratings period but I would imagine that bump disappears after she's off camera.

This is the key to every politicians future, which channel discusses them. If we relegate her to the Comedy Channel and she gets much deserved derision there, then context provides a more imposing message than disagreement with her idiocy, making even those who agree with her begin to see her in a comedic context. So pile it on, but do it in the Humor forum, give her time of The Daily Show, then report as news that Palin is on the Daily Show again.

Just because there is so much to be outraged about I would rather focus on lawmakers and policies of injustice or the environment.

I disagree with those who say we should ignore her, and let her fade from national politics.

To the contrary: we should take every chance we get to remind Americans that this hopeless airhead, this bigoted, mean-spirited, clueless apparition of an American citizen, this quitter, this grifter, so unteachably certain in her ignorance of all things true to the American spirit, was chosen by Republicans as the VERY BEST they could come up with to replace the rapidly-aging John McCain should he be elected president and the need arise. THIS was the person they wanted one aged heartbeat away from the nuclear trigger. THIS was the person they wanted meeting foreign leaders, naming ambassadors, appointing judges, issuing executive orders, dispatching our military into harm's way, and otherwise serving as president of the United States should McCain's heart, lungs, liver, kidneys or brain give out.

Remind people of that whenever possible, and ask them with all seriousness and honesty to imagine a Palin presidency for real. Anyone who's been paying attention at all these past years should be shaken to the core by the very thought.

And then ask them: what makes you think today's Republicans are any better at judging character, or anything else for that matter, than they were five years ago?

Palin should be held up, again and again and again, as a reminder of all things Republican. She was, after all, one of their most exhalted leaders, and remains to this day the best possible representative--second perhaps only to Rush Limbaugh--of today's Republican Party.

Nope, I want her hanging around, getting in the news, spewing her nonsense for as long as possible. Hell, I want her campaigning for every Republican in sight.

She's the best thing to happen to Democrats since Herbert Hoover.

She was a non-entity at the 2012 convention and the Romney campaign kept her well beyond arms length..which is funny given they actively pursued Ted Nugent for an endorsement.

Even within the GOP the only GOP candidates that want her near them are those who are in a solidly GOP state and who are already shoo-ins for election. She's a serious liability in purple or moderate states as proven by her disasterous endorsement record for significant elections held in the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic parts of the country.

Everytime she appears at a RW freak-fest like CPAC the media coverage only reminds those who have a brain why this emotionally-arrested middle-aged "mean girl" is singularly unqualified to be allowed near any national office in the future.

She's a useful tool for regional purposes but I don't see the national organization ever allowing her to serve in anything resembling a national role again.

All the more reason for us Democrats to keep reminding the public of how abysmal a "public servant" she was--and what a terrible president she would have been.

A gift like this comes once in a half century. I'm in no hurry to discard it.
