I mean there are people who might be opposed to telling kids about Santa who don't see it as a "despicable" lie.

though I am still not a fan of lying to children. I hated lying to my younger brother enough once I was let in on the "secret" that I didn't do Santa with my kids. And we still had wonderful Christmases.
