Heaven knows we worked hard to unseat him each time he's come up for election... but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe this year???

(6,690 posts)He got booed by pretty much everyone at the Apple Festival in Paintsville about 2 months ago. Right or Left or in between. Money is pouring in from in and out of the state to help Matt Bevin primary Mitch out of office. DeMint is behind Bevin.
Not to mention we all hope those two beat each other to a pulp before Alison Grimes gets a hold of them. If the man has any smarts left he'll "retire" before he ends up tossed out on his hind end.
No matter how it plays, Mitch is hopefully toast as far as his political career is concerned. Probably doesn't matter either way. He is probably swimming in "consultant" offers already to keep him in DC.
