I'll be donating platelets today......I've been doing that regularly for a long time (47 gallons), and there's a picture in one of the prep rooms that I try to avoid looking because it always makes me want to blubber....it's a picture of a 3 year old boy who passed away on Christmas Day some time ago. There's a quote from his parents......."We tell our story because no matter what happened we appreciate everyone who let us have our son for one more day, one more hour, one more moment."
