I'm nearby in Brunswick, Georgia and was worried our state was going to be more ass backwards due to the state legislature fighting against setting up an exchange.

It's not flawless and it's not a true healthcare system, but it is working.

to the cost of about $515 a month. No dental or vision coverage. And the annual premium is more than my expected annual income as the sole unpaid caregiver for an aging parent with dementia. Tax credits do me no good and my state opted not to expand their Medicaid program. I feel like a second class citizen.

But I no longer have to worry about losing coverage or beng priced out of the market if I am diagnosed with a chronic disease.
