Elizabeth Warren just sent an email asking for support of Senator Mark Pryor...

...who opposed tighter background checks on gun purchases and opposed filibuster reform amongst other positions.

So, is Warren:

1) another DLC/Third Way sellout?

2) a weakling who's too afraid to buck the establishment?

3) or, a practical politician who will support the best candidate we can get elected in a red state?

And then called for Social Security, and offered to cut Social Security?

Does she sup regularly with Jamie and Lloyd, or speak to their posses for $200k a pop?

Does she love free trade agreements?

Or is she just trying to find the best options among what's possible?

Hmmm...

Dec 2013

"The son of a three-term senator, Pryor is the junior senator from Arkansas. Pryor is a conservative Democrat with an evangelical streak who has broken from his party on several core issues including abortion and withdrawal from Iraq.

Pryor has fashioned a reputation as a strong consumer advocate, taking advantage of his seat on the Commerce Committee to pass legislation setting new safety restrictions on imports of toys."

generals that we'd not support in a primary. Fuck, most of us have said 'Yes, Joe Lieberman for VP' and I've voted for DiFi many times, she's nearly a Republican. Principle is you don't let the actual Republican win in a general, but you don't back the nearly Republican in a primary either if you have a choice.

Pryor is in fact unopposed in our Primary. He's as Democratic as it will get in 2014 AR. That's the principle. Get as good as you can.

of targeting donors to match the politician?

I'll happily make you a deal, Brooklynite, I will donate what I can afford, as much as possible, to Pryor if you donate as much as you can possibly afford to Jeff Merkley. Clearly Merkley will get the larger donation, but that's only because you are so fortunate as to be a 'deep pockets' guy....
Let me know when you send the extra pile to Jeff, I'll send Mark a donation. I await a PM to cue my giving. Remember the depth of your pockets when giving.
