And KO, who now has a sports show on ESPN2, continues lashing out at his former network here, here, and elsewhere on his twitter feed in response to the Melissa Harris-Perry controversy about comments made on her show about Mitt Romney's grandson.

(11,441 posts)because it was thoughtful discussion and he treated his guests with respect. And damn, the man can wear a suit. I started to tune out because of the Olbermann-O'Lielly wars -- too much focus on personality, rather than issues.
One thing is certain, I don't regret getting rid of cable -- AT ALL.

(2,840 posts)both on MSNBC and elsewhere, "cool kids" snark has taken the place of wit. And snark does not convince or persuade, it merely makes the speaker and those who already agree with him feel "superior" to the targets of the snark.
Most of these "political analysis" shows now are just glorified and over-hyped televised blogs.
It is to weep.
