If you have to keep firing people and apologizing, it's time to take stock of the purpose and TONE of your programming.

It won't let me start a new thread but I know a lot of people would like to know that Stefany Miller is listed on FSTV starting on Monday, Jan 6th at 8 am central time. It's 9415 on Dish tv.

because it was thoughtful discussion and he treated his guests with respect. And damn, the man can wear a suit. I started to tune out because of the Olbermann-O'Lielly wars -- too much focus on personality, rather than issues.

One thing is certain, I don't regret getting rid of cable -- AT ALL.

both on MSNBC and elsewhere, "cool kids" snark has taken the place of wit. And snark does not convince or persuade, it merely makes the speaker and those who already agree with him feel "superior" to the targets of the snark.

Most of these "political analysis" shows now are just glorified and over-hyped televised blogs.

It is to weep.

When I see MSNBC personalities like Harris-Perry and Ed, it makes me sad to see how far that channel has fallen.
