Police identify hit-and-run driver in fatal Anaheim bicycle crash

Anaheim investigators said they have identified a driver they suspect struck a 19-year-old bicyclist in a fatal hit-and-run earlier this week.

The driver has not been arrested or charged, said Lt. Bob Dunn of the Anaheim Police Department, in a statement.

"Additional investigation, including the examination of evidence and the collision scene, will be necessary to determine if investigators will be seeking charges," Dunn said.

Manuel Morales Rodriguez, 19, of Fullerton, was hit by at least two cars about 5:40 a.m. Wednesday on Orangethorpe Avenue, east of Lemon Street.
