345th consecutive month above avg temps, no relief in sight.

Dry. Drought. Consistent abnormally high temperatures for both daytime high and nighttime low temperatures.

While Faux has the M$M distracted with their latest shiny object on how cold it will be for a few days in the mid-west, 2/3 of the U.S. is in drought and the western U.S. is suffering from "exceptional drought" conditions, the highest rating given.

I live out here in the west and as beautiful as sunny skies are, we desperately need some rain! Where is it? Day after day of dry (human induced fossil fuel) polluted skies and when the clouds do come over us, there's no precipitation in them.

The U.S. Drought Monitor reports that almost 95 percent of California is enduring some level of drought. The California Department of Water Resources says much of the drought the state is experiencing can be attributed to climate change.

"We're coming off two years of below-normal precipitation," says Allan Haynes, a hydrologist with the California and Nevada River Forecast Center. "We've had an exceptionally dry past 12 months. In fact, one of the driest calendar years on record in lots of locations." - NPR 01/05/14

November 2013 global temperature highest on record Year-to-date global temperature ties for fourth highest on record

The globally-averaged temperature for November 2013 was the highest for November since record keeping began in 1880. November 2013 also marks the 37th consecutive November and 345th consecutive month with a global temperature above the 20th century average.

Many areas of the world experienced higher-than-average monthly temperatures,

Did you get that last part? NO REGIONS OF THE GLOBE WERE RECORD COLD. NONE!

Just like normal.

Therefore global climate change is a scam perpetrated by scientists to line their pockets.

Global warming is a hoax!!!!111

People who say crap like that have no idea what global warming is. They don't realize that GLOBAL warming is warmer-than-average temps happening on a GLOBAL scale. A few cold days here and there doesn't disprove anything.

Thank you for pointing out that last part. That's the key piece there.

With so much arctic warming, the jet stream has become very wavy. Those downward waves will be a blast (winter blast) in future winters. More snow storms, more floods, then weeks of no rain, followed by lots of rain, and blazing heat waves.

What a great future!
