Saudi Arabia to be a Defendant in 9/11 Suit: says Federal Appeals Court...

A federal appeals court has delivered yet another blow to the U.S. government’s effort to cover up a Saudi connection in the 2001 terrorist attacks, ruling that the Arab nation can be a defendant in a lawsuit filed by thousands of 9/11 victims and their families.

Issued this month by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the decision involves a high-profile case filed a decade ago by 9/11 victims who claim Saudi Arabia financed Al Qaeda before the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. A federal judge in New York decided that, as a foreign state, Saudi Arabia was immune and could not be named as a defendant under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act. This spared it the possibility of having to dole out billions in civil damages.

Citing an “error of law,” the appellate court restored the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a defendant...

The ruling comes on the heels of damaging information revealed by a pair of legislators—one Republican, one Democrat—who recently viewed a redacted chunk of a congressional report that confirms foreign state involvement in the 9/11 attacks. The suspiciously redacted pages of Congress’s 9/11 report left the lawmakers, North Carolina Republican Congressman Walter Jones and Massachusetts Democrat Stephen Lynch, “absolutely shocked” at the level of foreign involvement in the plot.

Americans have been told that Al Qaeda acted alone on September 11, 2001 and that there were no official state sponsors. In fact, the George W. Bush administration blacked out dozens of pages in the congressional investigative report on 9/11 that dealt with specific sources of foreign support for the 19 hijackers, most of whom were Saudi nationals. Those are the pages that were recently viewed by Congressmen Jones and Lynch...

One never knows with that group, but the latest revelations seem to show that Saudi Arabia was involved and there was much coverup going on before, during and after. Former Senator Bob Grahm has been out again giving interviews that are a refresher of what was not revealed in the "9/11 Official Report."

Kudos to North Carolina Republican Congressman Walter Jones and Massachusetts Democrat Stephen Lynch for pushing for access which should have been granted long ago!

...Democrat Bob Graham, the former Florida senator who chaired the Joint Inquiry, has asked the FBI for the Sarasota case files, but can’t get a single, even heavily redacted, page released. He says it’s a “coverup.”

Is the federal government protecting the Saudis? Case agents tell me they were repeatedly called off pursuing 9/11 leads back to the Saudi Embassy, which had curious sway over White House and FBI responses to the attacks.

Just days after Bush met with the Saudi ambassador in the White House, the FBI evacuated from the United States dozens of Saudi officials, as well as Osama bin Laden family members. Bandar made the request for escorts directly to FBI headquarters on Sept. 13, 2001 — just hours after he met with the president. The two old family friends shared cigars on the Truman Balcony while discussing the attacks...

3. I see from article FBI is trying to pin this on Anwar al Aulaqi

...so it's possible that even with the Saudi Involvement being confirmed...the focus goes to Anwar al Aulaqi. So with the Conservative "Judicial Watch" managing to get this investigation...I still wonder if there isn't going to be a "Red Herring" thrown into this to distract investigation once again by claiming "USA" got al Aulaqi and his son...so all is well. There hasn't been any other evidence that al Aulaqi had any complicity in the "9/11" attack that I've read about over the years since "9/11." If they come up with verifiable information more than "strong ties" between "two of the hijackers" then this might be credible. We know that our FBI has sometimes not been truthful with us, though.

From "JW":

Besides the secret Saudi flights, Judicial Watch has ongoing investigations related to the sophisticated 9/11 plot. Earlier this year JW obtained documents from the FBI that show strong ties between , the U.S.-born terrorist assassinated in 2011 by a U.S. drone in Yemen, and two of the 9/11 hijackers who attacked the Pentagon. In the documents the FBI describes al Aulaqi as “The Spiritual Leader of the Hijackers.”

...in that this opens up the conversation on whether or not to believe the governments narrative regarding many other areas of the events of that day.

For example: if the government is covering up the truth about Saudi involvement -- should we believe the official version of, say, the collapse of WTC7?

it's okay to sue them? Thankfully, our government doesn't go around bombing targets around the world or this could open us up to a whole bunch of lawsuits.

What the Saudi's aligned with Bandar Bushies did to Average Americans.

It's an interesting thought as to how this could turn out. And, something we should all think about....BECAUSE..."What Goes Around Comes Back Around...Eventually" if it's not resolved.

And there's the "Blowback"...;

the entirety of the event's of 9/11/01, including how three buildings collapsed that day after only two of them were hit by airplanes.

Remember also that those Neocon traitors didn't want an investigation and that it took years until the "investigation" actually began.
