Stop HR7!

Categories: All Above All, abortion restrictions, economic justice, Funds, health care reform, Hyde Amendment, TakeAction, unfair laws
Every year, politicians in Congress use our nations budget process to deny coverage of abortion for women who get their insurance or health care through the federal government.
Now some politicians want to make those restrictions even harsher and permanent through HR 7, the so-called "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act."
HR 7 would permanently codify the punitive Hyde Amendment that denies Medicaid-eligible women their right to an abortion and withhold all federal insurance coverage of abortion, putting it out of reach for many. Denying Medicaid coverage of abortion forces one in four poor women to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term.
This bill would make life harder for a woman and family who are already struggling to make ends meet. It puts up new barriers for people who have recently lost a job or had their house foreclosed on.
We are uniting to tell politicians in Washington that however they feel about abortion, they need to stop denying a womans health coverage just because she is poor.

Thank you to the brilliant Nancy Pelosi for "Where Are The Women?"

So tired of the bully boys. They are in this for themselves and their puppeteer masters. They do not give a damn about anyone or anything.

Mr. Romney is hoping that those women care, first and foremost, about jobs and the economy. Although hes been trying to modulate his stance on issues like abortion, saying in a recent interview that he did not know of any anti-abortion legislation he would push for, hes really urging women to put so-called womens issues on the back burner and vote instead for the candidate they think would do the most for the economy and job creation.
~from your link
Well of course he wants those issues on the back burner. Then after he won he would have turned the heat to high and boiled us alive!
Thanks fresh~
