The corporate media and our violent culture have managed to brainwash enough of our people into believing that we have to fight for the "security" of the empire in any part of the globe the 1% sends us to. Our supposedly peace loving populace has unleashed a War OF Terror all over the world.

Polls often indicate that the majority of folks don't want war. Nevertheless we keep electing people who vote for funding war every chance they get.

We've had at least 50 years to prove Ike right but we certainly haven't made any progress.
