Older machines can be had for very little, set up and used for this one purpose, maybe 50-100 instead of those prices. Planned parenthood could buy a few of them. When I had ultrasounds 36 years ago, you could barely make out the shape of the baby's head. That would probably do for this purpose, right?

Anyone WITH insurance will probably be denied coverage for it, since the pregnancy is to be terminated, and the out-of-pocket cost, combined with days lost from work, plus the "waiting" period/chastity lecture/evil-eye from doctor, plus the gauntlet of wicked taunts will discourage many women into waiting too long for the procedure or force them to go to a "underground" practitioner (like the ~~good~~bad old days...out of sight-out-of-mind
