Some would have us believe that there is such a thing as "good faith criticism of President Obama." Yeah right. This tactic comes from GOP think tanks. It is intended to justify anti-Obama hate fests which do nothing but help the GOP.
Any criticism of President Obama is by definition an attempt to help the GOP win the election. Please don't fall for this garbage about a supposed ACLU claim of wrongdoing or faux concern about the US Constitution.
The stakes of the election are too high for baseless criticism masking as "concern about civil liberties and the rule of law." Such talk is GOP instigated conspiracy theory.

(1,248 posts)that I've been gulled into doing so by some vast GOP conspiracy? Aww, c'mon. I think overall that Obama has done the best he could under the circumstances, but, let's face it, he's created some of those circumstances himself. I'm gonna work for his reelection, not because he's perfect and has done everything he promised to do, but because he's a decent guy who largely has the best interests of the country at heart. That doesn't make him immune from criticism when he screws up.

(1,173 posts)That's a fair criticism. Isn't it? And it certainly isn't a GOP talking point considering that they're further in the Wall Street tank than the Dems are.
Very strange OP. Not sure how blind allegiance to any politician would ever be a good idea.
