We all see these phrases used from time to time, but I don't know what they mean.
What are the center left and right positions on the war in Afghanistan?
What are the center left and right positions on the war on drugs?
What are the center left and right positions on the TPP?
What are the center left and right positions on the bank bailouts?
What are the center left and right positions on the Keystone pipeline?

(20,176 posts)The Centrist Left panders to the Democratic base. The Centrist Right panders to the GOP base. (Ineffectively. They're more popular with Democrats than their own party seemingly.)
The only ally either has is the other Centrist faction.
Fuck all centrists.

(65,616 posts)And the centrist left is what is known as moderate democrats. There is no such thing as left wing teabaggers nor is there a GOP liberal party.
Afghanistan = both say should be out.
War on Drugs = end it, more drug testing needed.
TPP = don't know this one.
TARP = moderates love it, RWingers hate it because Obama did it.
Keystone = don't know.
