Statewide hydrofracking activists met in Rochester, N.Y. yesterday...

I had a chance to meet several activists who have long been on the campaign to ban hydrofracking in New York State, Bram Loeb, local coordinator Harry Davis, Anna Sears, among others...

The NYS GOP convention was held yesterday in Rochester, about 30 of us held the convention center enterance for the day.

I had a chance to briefly speak with past Governor George Pataki and address my concerns with the process, a few local pols who also support the process.

His contempt for the SGEIS process and the extended public comment period were his two main 'concerns'

He wants jobs for New Yorkers, jobs which will likely be filled by crews from out of state operations who are currently trained in the operation.

It's pathetic that the environmental impact on the environment, health and safety are mere 'obstacles' to these people...

Pataki was the keynote yesterday, I fully expect to see his name in '16 for Senate.
