SC GOP legislators rip Gov. Haley's statewide tour on tax relief
Gov. Nikki Haley and her staff used the state plane to jet around South Carolina this week, criss-crossing the state two days in a row to promote her new tax plan.
The S.C. House leadership, members of Haley's own party, pointed out one key problem: She has no plan before the Legislature. The post-trip criticism is a public display of the growing schism between the governor and chief Republican lawmakers.
Haley, whose ideas for tax relief are noted in her executive budget, has not drafted legislation that could turn her talking points into law, and her office indicated Thursday that it has no intention of writing a bill.
Now, top lawmakers are calling the governor's statewide "Tax Relief Tour" a diversion meant to distract from a "flurry" of bad press in recent months, including reports of the governor's controversial handling of issues related to the expansions of the Charleston and Savannah ports.
"She's doing a fly-around with no bill," House Speaker Bobby Harrell said. "Sometimes in politics, you want to change the conversation."

Squabble, squabble.......
She couldn't get them to pass the salt much less a bill. They reeeeeaaally hate her along with the rest of SC.
Nobody, and I mean nobody, thought she would be worse than Sanford. People didn't think she would be great, but her level of ineptitude is amazing.
She is a hot mess, bless her heart.
