I just hope they cannibalize each other.

While I don't think especially highly of any of the GOP candidates or their followers (at least their points of view) I would hope that they all are able to have their views presented in a process that is fair to all.

One could very well see a situation where there might be some underhanded dealings going on in the caucuses.

Every single one of the people in the crowd likely support taking the right to vote from racial minorities, and college students. Doubtful that a single one of them see how dangerous their desires to suppress voting is, ultimately to them. When there are no more weak links to break, there is no option for those with authoritarian tendencies but to go after links that were once secure.

This is the most entertaining campaign in a long time.

The committee was appointed (not elected) by the Santorum Temporary Chair. When asked to vote in agreance the audience said No and the Temporary Chair said yes. A major disagreement erupted. Citizens were arrested for turning on their cameras and the meeting was ajourned. The Citizens of the county were told to leave the building and that we lost our ability to vote in delegates. The public chanted - let us vote but again were asked to leave or be arrested. About 65 % of the public in attendance wore Romney Stickers.

The infighting is hilarious.

They clearly violated the rules of the caucus, and that should alarm anyone, Democrat, Independent or Republican.

When a caucus picks a candidate over the will of the voters, that should be cause for alarm. Let's be frank here - no one would put up with this, either, if it happened in a Democratic caucus. I would probably have been arrested too over this gross breach of voter law.

I see nothing amusing about this. What I see is that our political process is in flames, and that is NO cause for joy just because it happened to the other side. It will happen on ours, too, and this MUST NOT STAND.

I don't feel the least bit sorry for them.

In 2008, here in red state hell, Democrats in my county stood in line while it was RAINING ICE at caucus locations all over the area. And we waited for 3 or 4 hours PEACEFULLY. This was several months before Obama took the nomination so we had no clear candidate yet. There were no fights, no arrests, no hassles. No one broke the rules of the caucus. Just a long wait.

And that was typical all across the country.

So don't say it will happen to us too. That's a ridiculous accusation. We don't have any lunatic Ron Paul anarchists in our party. We don't have any whacko far right Santorum supporters either.

I know about Red States. Don't give in to the idea that our party is so pure it could never happen to us - that kind of thinking leads to disaster. Instead, take away from it an example of what we must not do - we cannot let party heads get to the point where they think their opinions are absolute.

There is a lesson to be learned here. We must not be blind to it merely because we don't like the messenger.

I could care less that republicans are fighting eachother.

Easily half the delegates will be CCW holders and doubtless carrying: three dead, eight wounded sounds about adequate....
