I hope they plan on doing more seasons, even though they only aired 2 episodes thus far. That's how great I think it is. I'm already looking forward to years of watching!

Brought back some memories, not all pleasant. I did like the way they heightened the weirdness by tying the serial killers method to either Satanism or some other fake witchcraft religion.

But then I like dark, gloomy detective shows.

I think it is an extension of the Scandinavian procedurally ala Nesbo, Adler-Olson books, which have grabbed me big time.

Also loved The Killing and the Bridge.

Such books and shows seem to be more complicated and with excellent writing and acting.

Hope the trend continues.

I am a big fan of the show but kind of bummed it's only 8 episodes and this dynamic duo will not be in the next season.

I'm already looking forward to next week's episode. The only problem is there's only 6 of them left.. and my understanding is that if it's picked up for another season, it will involve a whole new story complete with a different cast. So, both Harrelson and McConaughey will be gone.

with the artistry of True Detective. I think Cary Fukunaga will be doing brilliant work in both movies and TV for many years to come.

I wouldn't have watched except for recommendations here, but with Breaking Bad and Dexter gone, I needed some thing to fill in the empty space. This works nicely.

A little over the top with the violence but good story line. In fact, the young lady in last episode of True Detective is also in Banshee.

Harrelson is the one who is denying them. He's struggling to hold it together, but in the end I think he is the one who is most unpredictable and dangerous.

But I like Harrelson.

It's a little slow, like Louisianna. Or the actors need a bit more rehearsal. Reminds me of a song that hasn't quite been fleshed out. But, it does have an interesting creepy feeling. I'll watch other episodes.

played either character. They can both pull off that creepy vibe. And it is so bleak. What's not to like.

I don't mind only 8 episodes. Its enough for a good story.

One of my sons told me about it. I think it is a very good program. I usually restrict my watching television to "the news" and, of course, boxing. But I definitely find this series to be worth watching.
