They try to help others...gather toiletries for the homeless, organize Christmas gifts and dinners for the homeless..

Several people carry cat food in their cars and regularly feed some of the feral felines...or give their time at animal shelters...

They are such good people.. But, I'm still kind of jumpy that I might encounter your Tea Partier thought patrol type of person.

In Ontario once, a member of church in town who was doing reconstruction work for me...and a generally lovely man...

Once went off on a rant on 'gays'. that I remember with horror to this day. I actually ran from my own home..just contemplating this abcessed thought in his mind.

Maybe this spring, I'll create a Rainbow flower garden as a silent statement to my feelings on the subject

me out. Hell I'm in PA and you see that one idiot is doing. South Carolina is arresting women and charging them with murder for miscarriages:

Hell, look at the thread on DU about Colorado trying to do the same thing.

I wonder if someone who was forced to undergo such a mandated procedure could sue the state government officials who wrote, passed, and signed such a law?

The pattern of State level legislative action seems to be far from spontaneous. I wonder if the RICO act covers such conspiratorial behavior?

The GOP has legislated that doctors can and MUST lie to women about abortion and pregnancy and that they MUST lie to patients about the effects of fracking chemicals. What next? Who knows?

First, to quote the newly elected member of the Washington DC School Board..... Kiss my Shiny Metal Ass. I will take care of my patients PERIOD. Want to throw me in jail and leave our EDs/clinics uncovered? Go for it.

Second, all this pseudo-theocratic BS makes me wonder if the Men Behind The Curtain are perhaps showing their thinly veiled hand a bit too much. I don't think the powers-that-be give a crap about religious concepts, other than their reverence for money (unless perhaps the Saudi gov't is driving the bus??). They are using the religious right just like they've used every other manipulated group over the years. Pushing things THIS far makes me fear that the GOP must have an awful lot of trust in their ability to control the voting process.

It would seem that doctors are being forced to provide medically unnecessary care. That seems to be contrary to ethics of care, not to mention illegal if they charge a 3rd party.

It also seem that patient privacy protections are nullified. And the woman's health could consider it a false claim, being medically unnecessary.

Just wondering....

having a doctor to tell property (females) what to do is not in the same category as telling "you" a human being (white male) what to do

if you are trying to get them on contradictions good luck, you are giving them too much credit, if you understand (as women of my generation do) that a woman is not a real human being nor is a black man a real human being THEN you start to understand what the tea party is about (which is putting nice name on sexism and racism)

stop trying to give shitheads the benefit of the doubt, they will never do the same for you
