Winning The GOP War Against Women

Winning the GOP war on women will not be won by always playing defense. So far women have been able to stall some initiatives that take away their rights. A lot of legislation is already passed and will be passed in the coming months. And the GOP is still determined to clandestinely pass even more restrictive and punitive laws. They are blitzkrieging surprise flash legislation all over the country in the various states.

Women are going to have to find an organized offensive war nationally if they are to win long term. And it will take more than the ballot box if the GOP is successful in limiting voting rights which is what they are doing with voter ID. Many college women who have the most to lose will be effected by this strategy.

Women of faith will also be intimidated into cooperating with the removal of their rights to control their health. Catholic bishops and the pope believe they have divine authority to order women what to do. Women will be told it is a mortal sin to vote for their rights to choose and will be denied communion if they don't.

And employers will be empowered to suppress womens privacy rights through their employment. The Arizona law makes it clear that an employer can demand women's cooperation even without that law because in a "work at will" environment all workers in fact have NO rights at all.

There are lots of men who support women's rights unconditionally, and if you expand the message to the creeping threat of theocracy, you will have even more allies.
