Crist Holds Solid Lead in Florida

A new Quinnipiac poll in Florida finds Charlie Crist (D) leading Gov. Rick Scott (R) by eight points in the governor's race, 46% to 38%.

Said pollster Peter Brown: "The best number in this poll for Crist -- and the biggest problem for Scott -- is that a majority of Florida voters say the current governor does not deserve a second term in Tallahassee. Voters also give Crist a higher job approval for when he ran the state than any approval rating Scott has received in his three years on the job."

WTF, are you kidding me, who are these people that still support the current governor. He took the 5th amendment 76 times he did this to cover something up and they elected him and now 36% want him back really, time to get your head out of your asses.

the vote out year after year after year. Perry won his "landslide" with only 11% of registered voters. The Teapubicans win because they vote and the 64% who despise Rick Scott don't win because by and large they don't vote.

and he said he supports cannabis for medicine. I'd like to see his health department implement this instead of Scott when it passes.

8. Will Marijuana Decide the Florida Governor's Race?

Democratic and Republican insiders are saying that marijuana law reform may decide the Florida governor's race, according to a recent Bloomberg report.

Although Crist approved increased penalties for marijuana possession as governor, he -- unlike Gov. Scott -- supports the proposed medical marijuana ballot measure. Crist held the governor's office from 2007-2011 as a Republican, before switching parties. No Democrat has won a governor's race in Florida since 1994.

Is the general feeling in Florida. However, I hope I live to see the day when the Panhandle of Florida turns blue like it once was. I remember back when I was undergoing phys. therapy and Scott was running against Alex Sink (really good material) and a nurse was agonizing who to vote for. She was downsized (fired) from a health care unit that Scott took over and now had to work more years for retirement. Bitter as hell against Scott. I even brought in an article about how he scammed millions from the government. BUT, she could not bring herself to vote for a Democrat and still voted for him because he -and I'll always remember these words- "Could make tough decisions". Christ, O'mighty.
