St. Charles, MO GOP Caucus voting situation

People that live outside of the district are angry about the verdict that got hijacked. It was the most undemocratic process most people have ever witnessed. My parents are octogenarians, and they are pissed about this because it subverts the legal, Constitutional, voting process.

They threw away votes because they weren't the votes they wanted. Independents, Republicans AND Democrats should be angry about this. It is the equivalent of "if you don't vote the way I want you to, then you don't get a vote."

It was a shameful situation. I hope that Missouri rises up and takes back their political process, because they were robbed of their political process in St. Charles.

I am not defending the election process in MO. My own polling place in St. Louis County is pretty bad on a number of levels.

It's important to note, however, that this was a MO GOP function, not a MO function.

I'll correct it, since it was the MO GOP that cratered. My point in making this post, though, is to bring to attention when political parties do the wrong thing. This was blatant voter intimidation and coercion. No American can sit well with that.

It is up to the GOP in Missouri to rectify this mess, not Missourians as a whole.

I think that there will be change, because there is lots of dissatisfaction in all of the state, not just St. Charles. The GOP essentially proved that they can't run a caucus, and if they can't run a caucus then how can you trust them with the government.

Instead of MO GOP. I meant this post to highlight how people's rights are being stripped of them even as they try to take part in the political process. I look on Republicans getting stripped of their voice just as badly as I would look upon Democrats losing their voice due to a corrupt caucus.

This is terrible, and it isn't a reflection on the people of MO, but it is a reflection of the GOP in MO.
