Nit picking, but I do wonder why they had to put in that Bob Dylan "claimed" to have been at the Duluth show. By all accounts, he was, and as a rock n roll obsessed teenager, with this show coming so close to Hibbing, it's almost inconceivable that he wouldn't have been there.
With the Crickets having done their recording in Clovis,NM, there are still plenty of old timers around that knew him , or his back up singers ,or the Pettys etc (an old GF of mine was friends with the Petty family) and Holly's presence still looms large here all these years later. BTW, I read Peggy Sue Gerron's autobiography; a fascinating read, more so than I expected really , for anyone interested. Titled What Ever Happened to Peggy Sue.
