A website called Politix asked whether "
"Is the middle class bearing the brunt of income inequality?"
One commenter response was
"Yes all them politicians are taxing the middle class to give to the poor, which just makes more poor people."
Another commenter stated
"The reason it is so bad now for the middle class is Obamacare. Obamacare cost jobs and working hours and now some still that had insurance can no longer get it. Obama shut down coal operations, denied the Keystone Pipeline and has added so many regulations that people can't make a living anymore. Look at all of the people who lost homes-he promised to help and fix that but those people that lost are ruined for more years, and the banks got bailed out. Obama has been for nothing but himself and his donors. Who would play golf when the country was in turmoil? Worst president ever!"
These guys have the right idea, but have completely the wrong idea to solve the problem.

Whoever made those comments are the bottom of the barrel and that you think that they "have the right idea" and that you are posting their comments here reveals more about you than your post does about anything else.

(8,492 posts)You chose the two most illiterate comments, but the gist of the others is similar. What an odd web site.
Anyway, I'm hoping that your comment, "These guys have the right idea, but have completely the wrong idea to solve the problem." was a statement in general about the comments on the article and not your opinion on the two sample comments you referenced. Either way, I didn't see any comment offering an 'idea to solve the problem". Just a lot of finger pointing at Pres. Obama. Is there a solution to the problem of the middle class? Not 'one' and not an easy collection of solutions, either. I'm not even confident we'll have a stronger middle class in my lifetime. When the government, corporations and the upper class start caring about the middle and poor classes, we may all have a chance.
