Senate GOPer Accuses Obama Of 'Outrageous Lie' During Super Bowl Interview

Senate GOPer Accuses Obama Of 'Outrageous Lie' During Super Bowl Interview

Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) on Monday criticized President Obama for his comments about the Benghazi attack and Fox News during his interview with Fox host Bill O'Reilly before the Super Bowl.

"It’s just an outrageous lie, it is kind of hard to call it anything else. It’s kind of like Obamacare. It's kind of like Obamacare and the things he said in the beginning and now he’s denying it,” Inhofe told Oklahoma radio station KFAQ about Obama's claim that his administration did not cover up information on Benghazi.

O'Reilly told Obama that some believe that the White House did not call the situation in Benghazi a terrorist attack for political reasons before the 2012 election, which Obama rebutted.

"They believe it because folks like you are telling them," Obama said. "We revealed to the American people exactly what we understood at the time."

Inhofe insisted on KFAQ that Obama was hiding something.

“I will say this to my dying day — I know people don’t realize it now — but that’s going to go down in history as the greatest cover-up. And I’m talking about compared to the Pentagon Papers, Iran-Contra, Watergate and the rest of them. This was a cover-up in order for people right before the election to think that there was no longer a problem with terrorism in the Middle East," he said.

about the real 9/11.

I have long been convinced that the non-stop crap about Benghazi has more to do with trying to erase the real 9/11 from memory and replacing it with the horrific death of these four persons largely created because ReTHUGs cut funds to embassies and the wishes of the Ambassador himself.

seriously, it's astounding how much of a "scandal" they think it is that democratic politicians didn't use a word that republican politicians thought would help republicans right before an election.

this is just about the craziest excuse of a fabricated scandal ever.

they are so wound up about this non-scandal, in fact, that it almost makes one start to suspect that they were, in fact, behind it, and are pissed that it didn't have the desired result. if only obama had just played along and panicked right before the election and said "omigorsh terrorists everywhere, hide under your desks! only republicans can save us now!"

sure they should feel more insecure by ignoring facts and injecting doubt and blazing conjecture. They threaten their bought off politicians and give them the lines to repeat and pressure them to demand to be heard.

Its easier to fool a frightened public. So they attract those who are willing to fight to retain their sense of national superiority.FOX builds up this crazy world of propaganda that supports the idea that if you are closed to change you are safe and any sharing of our national rights with those who are open minded is a threat to their rights.

It's bogus. In reality and according to our US Constitution, which they refuse to share - it's destabilizing and it's totally UN-American.
