"Over Chinese food at the fabulous Lao Sze Chuan in Milford, Ct. I had the pleasure of reading Chris Christies 700-word-long attack on David Wildstein and the New York Times. This came moments after I opened a fortune cookie that advised me to Enjoy yourself while you can. (!)"

(1,730 posts)admit the obvious: he's a petty, vindictive fellow who is unable to let grudges go. He knew full well of the bridge shut down PRIOR to it occurring; he's not fooling anyone. By parsing words and playing silly games, he is showing the world what a liar he is, and just how unsuitable he is for higher office. Hell, he's unsuitable to be governor of one of the most corrupt states in our union.
Even Romney wasn't stupid enough to add him to the prez ticket. That alone speaks volumes.

there are only two realities here: either he did not know what his staff was doing, in which case he should resign for gross incompetence, or he did know, in which case he needs to resign for being all the things you said.

(20,234 posts)I think some folks are assuming it was said as an attack.
Perhaps Christie meant to draw attention to his deceptive behavior because it made him more qualified to be on Christie's staff.
