The GOP are waiting over the death bed of the US for all practical purposes. They are just waiting like wolves over a dying deer until it falls. All they want is to wait for power until they can kill or abolish everything. Thanks to ALEC and the GOP US citizens will own nothing because the GOP working on selling everything to foreign countries any way. Good by national parks, highways, water, sewer, gas lines, electric lines etc.
Forget Social Security, ACA, Medicare, Medicaid and all domestic programs it all goes. And the labor laws go as well. They are determined to deliver us to their version of libertarian utopia. And forget voting only GOP candidates will be on the ballot if they have their way.
These assholes are not just crazy they are psychopathic maniacs.

The military brass has failed the citizens of the U.S.
The powers that be love corrupt capitalism, corrupt government, and the warmongering military brass.
They are intentionally destroying this country.
They should be made to pay, and pay dearly for the misery, death, and destruction they have caused in the U.S. and around the globe.

How many Democratic politicians voted to bail out Wall Street ?
How many Democratic politicians keep voting to increase the military budget ?
The whole damn system is corrupt.

(10,602 posts)Many moderate or DINO's were elected in districts that lean GOP. Other Dems face millions of ALEC, Koch and other billionaire and corporate dollars every election cycle. Plus we have a corrupted and even criminal media now that keeps pushing Dem or progressive ideas down or into the back ground.
Let me use Colorado as an example. We lost 3 school board seats in Jefferson County. Based on what I can discern, the GOP and churches and Kochs probably put in over 1/4 of a million dollars in flyers and ads into this election. Grayson in Florida just had $400,000 in ads dumped into his district.
In Colorado we are facing probably up the $500,000 million against our candidates at the federal, state and local levels. Evie Hudak who had to resign during her last campaign had so many flyers against her that they stacked up more than 1/2 inch deep. That is not to mention all the other ads. And ALL were complete lies. You would think that she was the female equivalent of Jack the Ripper.
When Ed Perlmutter ran against Coors who was demented by the way the word was that nearly one million dollars was spent on that campaign. So it is hard to run when you face just a tsunami of money and ads. Even now Coffman is running ads now that he will probably face Andrew Romanoff in November.
The Kochs and their ilk will probably dump $1 billion dollars in the next election in an effort to take over the Senate. And the real problem is that so many white older Americans hate Obama so much they will NEVER vote Dems even if the GOPPER tells them they will be shot at dawn. The hatred and misinformation is so thick and deep right now. The GOP wants to spread hysteria in the voting public and with voter suppression and gerrymandering Dems are going to probably have a hard time. Too many people are too damned stupid and apathetic.
I have a a problem that Dems do not fight, then again the conditions in the country are not exactly progressive or pro worker so go figure.

Why would they go to the polls when everything they care about is ignored?
WHY would they bother when the only time they hear from their Democratic candidates is when they stage their political theater so they can send fundraising emails about how mean the Republicans are? (Unemployment Insurance)
WHY would they bother when all but NINE Democrats sign on to another cut in food stamps and their Democratic President signs it?
Every day is just another day of political theater at the expense of the Democratic voter base.

(1,819 posts)For full scale rioting to begin and once that happens civil war? Those at the top, think they can stay above the fray but I think before it is over everyone loses. If they have no middle class, they have no reason for existing. They have no workers. who provide the demand for the goods they sell? What need would the rest of us have for them? They may have money but we have numbers.
Sorry just mulling a nightmare....
