Santorum just made a reference comparing himself to God by saying

he will not change with the climate. As in 'I am the same today tomorrow and forever.' He also poo pooed climate change.
He is using obvious references to the Bible without bringing it up because the audience is full of radical Christian theocratic bigots.
They think only God can destroy the world so that makes climate change impossible.
