I have little doubt that the time is coming.

Just incidentally, this afternoon I got into a little conversation with a clerk in a local "farm & barn store".

I've known him casually for some time, and that store seems to retain its employees very well. Many are middle-aged & very knowledgeable about the tings they sell, generally quite frank in their advice, trying to get customers to buy what will work best for them, not what's most expensive.

Anyway, we started talking about the $6 propane in WI, and the discussion quickly moved on to how the Big Money people are buying the politicians, and how corrupt the system is. I said, "It seems to me that people are becoming a lot more aware of these things than they were, and he said, "Yeah, I think so. We just have to keep fighting."

I don't know what he means by "keep fighting;" it would have seemed intrusive to carry the conversation any further in that direction while he was working, but I was definitely heartened by what he had to say.

I would gladly volunteer to be on the front lines if I knew it would do any good.

We have the insane Tea Party, the corrupt bastards in DC, and the thieves on Wall Street.

It seems any meaningful change for this country is out of the question.

The problems facing U.S. citizens seem insurmountable.

All it would take is for people vote against what the GOP thinks it has done. There are a lot of GOPPERS who are being screwed by GOP policies. They are Republicans who need to wake up if they draw a paycheck and are on Medicare or Social Security. The problem is so many people vote wrong. The Dems would go left if they thought they would win.
