Campaign Finance Reform: Maybe us Dems should start with our own primary process?

Obviously getting federal legislation covering all parties is the ultimate goal, but we all know that's a looong way off.

In the meantime, if we're all so in favor of reforming the corrupt election system, how about we start with our own primary process? Even if we can't make it "illegal" for candidates to take and spend beyond a certain point, we can make all candidates sign a pledge they won't do it and then hold them accountable. Let the big corporate donors that we're onto them, at least. We've got to start somewhere.
